Dandy is an Australian bred Miniature Horse stallion. Dandy was part of the breeding programs at studs such as Brymar, Alqueria, Fernihough, and Tiny Town.

He is extremely correct and sound in his confirmation and has a beautiful head.

Dandy was shown whilst he was at Alqueria Miniature Horse Stud and achieved many wins, including 1998 MHAA National Reserve Champion, beating some of Australia’s very well known show-winning stallions. In more recent years he was successfully shown in Townsville by Jennifer Elliot of Jendanelle Miniature Horse Stud.

 

Dandy has sired some lovely show horses over his years. He throws foals with pretty heads and his excellent confirmation. He has proven to be height reducing, with second generation foals being quite small. He has given us one lovely filly, who we couldn't be happier with. Bliss has been retained to continue on his line. 

Dandy has a wonderful temperament, he is friendly, gentle and very easy to handle. Dandy is 17 and he is enjoying semi-retirement with us where he will stay to live out his days. He is a special boy and we feel very lucky to have the pleasure of owning him.
